Folders Overview

Folders are built in a nested tree hierarchy and are the containers of all Solodev resources including files and folders to your actual website(s). Folders have a wide range of functionality in Solodev and can be modified and customized to suit your needs. A folder can be used as a document repository for a company Intranet or can be used to store HTML and/or STML files destined for the web. This section will teach you how to create and modify a folder in Solodev.

Folders are used to:

  • Group assets together such as web files, other folders, stml pages, images, etc.
  • Display nav menu items when a folder off the www root is placed directly into a dynamicDiv.
  • Map categories to managers.

I noticed the above says "Restrict Access in Website to Authorized Users

Allows access to the folder and contents to be password protected for website visitors"

Where is the documentation to do this?

    Thanks.
