Copy a Page
Solodev gives you the ability to copy a page and add it to the same section or move the copied page to a new section by selecting a different folder. However, if you want to display different copy you will need to create a new HTML file to insert in the content window.
If your purpose for wanting to copy a page is to add a similarly styled page to your site, you can also use the add a new page option.
If you would prefer to copy a page, please follow the instructions below:
Open the page you would like to copy by selecting it from the left hand file tree. Click the Copy button.
Because you cannot have two pages by the same name in one folder, you must either select a different destination for the page you are copying or change the name of the page.
To change the name, double click the file name in the red box and the window will turn white. Edit the name by typing the new name in place of the existing name, making sure to keep the original extension (.stml). After editing the name, click the Save button next to the filename.
If you want to keep the page in the same folder, you can finish the copy process by clicking the Submit button in the bottom right of the page.
If you plan to move the page you are copying, select a new parent folder to which you want to move the file by clicking on that folder in the file tree on the right side of the page before clicking the Submit button.
Note - Not specifying a new folder will place the copied page in the same directory from which it was copied.
